Scott Cawthon's Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror/resource management game series that started as a small project but quickly grew into a massive multimedia phenomenon that most indie developers can only dream of. There are almost 20 games filled with Chuck E. Cheese-style robots operated by the souls of murdered children, and it's safe to say that some of those animatronics threaten to linger on people's minds for a lot longer.

In the absence of objective metrics that can truly meet the needs of the Internet, we've collected some impious works that both delight and terrify fans, and we believe they'll leave behind deeper, more painful and more... Funny, emotionally traumatic. Now, while costume variants of the same animatronics may be considered different entities based on the confusing lore of the series, this article will not show two versions of the same character.
