Willie Hugh Nelson was born on April 29, 1933. He is an American musician, actor and activist. The success of the album Shotgun Willie, coupled with the success and commercial success of Red Headed Stranger and Stardust, made Nelson one of the most recognized artists in country music.  He is one of the leading figures in illegal countries/regions, an illegal country music that was developed in the late 1960s in response to conservative restrictions on Nashville’s voice.
