Shulkers can be found in End City. These massive structures are made of stone bricks and copper at the ends, as can be seen in the image above.

As their name implies, End Cities can be found in End. To find one, you first need to defeat the Ender Dragon. Later, you will see a 1X1 portal appear on the dragon generated island. Throwing an Ender pearl into this portal will transport you to a random island where you can begin your search.

The shulker can attach to any surface in the End city. Several shulkers can usually be found in tall corridors that extend upward.

The mob looks a lot like the purple neighborhood around them, making them easy to blend in. If a shulker is nearby, you will hear their noise as well as see their shell open and exposed to a small core in the center.
