Waylon Arnold Jennings was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as one of the founding pioneers of the Outlaw Movement.
Jennings started playing guitar at the age of eight and made his first performance on KVOW radio at the age of twelve. Since then, he has formed his first band, Texas Longhorns.
Jennings formed a rock band The Waylors and became the band of the Scottsdale Club "JD's" in Arizona. He has recorded records for independent record companies Trend Records and A&M Records. It was not until he moved to RCA Victor to succeed Neil Reshen as the manager that he succeeded. He later negotiated heavily for his tour and record contract.
