Dame Olivia Mary de Havilland, (July 1, 1916-July 26, 2020), born in Tokyo, Japan, British film actor. She became popular with gone with the Wind in 1939 and reached her peak in the 1940s. Her masterpieces include Seeds of amour, Snake's lair, and A Dream in boudoir. Her awards include two Academy Awards for Best Actress, two Golden Globes, and a Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival. De Havilland has lived in Paris, France since the 1950s and was awarded the French Legion of Honor in 2010. In 2017, two weeks before her 101st birthday, Queen Elizabeth II awarded her the Medal of the British Empire, and de Havilland became the oldest recipient. Since 2014, de Havilan and the actor who played her son in gone with the Wind have become the last two living actors in the film [2]. During her nearly 60-year acting career, she won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to the film industry. De Havilland's biological sister is Joan Fontaine, another Oscar-winning actress, and they are the only siblings in the world who have won Oscar awards in the acting category. De Havilland died in Paris, France, on July 25, 2020 at the age of 104.
