Peter Jackson's popular film trilogy was well treated when Lego got its hands on the land. Lord of the Rings respects the source material and uses small details to create interesting mechanics. It uses music and voice over footage from the film, while adding some Lego elements. What fans of the game are most interested in is that players are placed in an open-world Middle Earth, where there are tons of mithril bricks waiting to be discovered, new characters to buy, and new quests to complete. It's a full-on adventure, just like in the movies.
