In Ukraine, if you're going to send flowers, make sure the bouquet is odd, because even bouquets are sent at funerals.

 If you want to send flowers to your hostess, or celebrate their birthdays or other special holidays, don't send yellow flowers or Easter lilies, because these flowers are only for funerals.
