Blackstone is a new building block that was introduced in Minecraft with their Nether update. This block can not be crafted using a furnace or a crafting table but rather needs to be mined. Blackstone is quite easy to find and mine if you are looking in the right place. Let’s take a look at the procedure.

Blackstone can be found in the following places listed below. Ensure that you can easily navigate to locations listed below that have active Blackstone deposits before proceeding with the procedure.

Procedure
Navigate to your discovered Blackstone in the Nether areas. Aim at a block, equip your pickaxe, and start mining. You should now start cracking away at the surface which should yield Blackstone soon depending on the pickaxe that you are using. It will take you a maximum of 7.5s to mine a single block of Blackstone depending on the pickaxe that you are using.
How long does it take to mine Blackstone
