Life experience set in the novel

Hannibal was born in a noble family in Lithuania in 1933 and lived in Fort Lecter. He experienced the occupation of Lithuania by the Soviet Union (1940) and Nazi Germany (1941) during World War II. In childhood (1944), Germany was defeated in the Baltic offensive of the Soviet army and began to withdraw into Lithuania under its own rule. So the Lecter family came to the hunting hut in the woods to avoid the German army. Soon the hut was affected by the fighting between the attacking Soviet army and the defensive German army. His parents were killed and Hannibal and his sister Meisha depended on each other. In the cold winter, several Lithuanian volunteer assistants who had joined the German army broke into the hut (now these people have left the German army and killed their checkmate German commander in revenge when they robbed the house after looting a Soviet army vehicle. ), because of hunger, they killed Meisha who was suffering from pneumonia and then ate it. Hannibal suffered a severe psychological impact and has not spoken for eight years.
