One of the most interesting facts, which most fans don't even notice, is that Freddie has a shape very much like a handprint that crosses the left side of his face. When the green overlay is used, the handprint becomes clearer and clearer. Whether or not the shape is coincidental (which seems unlikely), many players think it could be the phone man during the Cockfight march and before his last call is cut off -- exactly Freddie's attack during the blackout.

Many have even speculated that the handprint could also belong to the murdered child, or even be from Freddie trying to rip his own head off -- as shown on random posters that appear during the game.
