Five Nights of Freddie is still a classic. The gameplay of avoiding cute but scary electronic monsters is throughout. While tracking monsters through security cameras and closing doors might seem too mysterious to a young child, the simple control scheme and premise offset that. It's not too scary. The worst thing about the game itself is the simple jumping, which takes more gory details out of the game's setting and story. The ability to download it easily on mobile devices makes it a must for older kids who love horror.
