Lana Turner joined Warner Bros. Entertainment in 1937 and was called the "Sweater Girl" by producer Irving Fein with the suspenseful film "Never Forget". In 1938, he was introduced by filmmaker Melvin Leroy to sign a contract with MGM Films. In 1941, he cooperated with Clark Gable and starred in the comedy "The Gambler Johnson" directed by Jack Conway; in the same year, he co-starred in the science fiction horror film "Dr. Incarnation" with Ingrid Bergman. In 1942, he co-starred in the black crime film "Blood on Two Heroes" with Robert Taylor. In 1946, he starred in the role of Cora in the thriller film "The Postman Always Rings the Bell Twice". In 1948, he starred in the action film "Three Musketeers". In 1952, he co-starred with Kirk Douglas in the feature film "The Adventures of the Jade Girl". In 1958, he was nominated for the 30th Oscar for Best Actress Award for his love film "Cold and Warm World"; in the same year, he was involved in a murder. In 1959, the love film "Spring Wind and Autumn Rain", which he invested and starred in, not only had a good box office, but also recovered its popularity in Hollywood. The feature film "Mrs. X" starring in 1966 won the gold medal of the 10th Italian David Award. In 1981, he won the Film Art Achievement Award of the American Film Association. In 1994, he won the Performance Award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain.
