Ducati was founded in 1926 by the founder Antonio Cavalieri Ducati. It is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer headquartered in Bologna, Italy. Its products are famous for their excellent performance and Italian design. In 1946, Ducati launched the Cucciolo, the first single-cylinder engine in corporate history, managed by the Italian Industrial Promotion Association at the time. This kind of engine is configured on a general bicycle. The designer is the SIATA company of Turin, which has sold 250,000 pieces worldwide. Although it was only a small engine installed on a bicycle, Ducati has since stepped into the field of motorcycle manufacturing, and the motorcycle division has since been established as a branch of the company. Audi acquired Ducati in April 2012.
