Like Nathan Sawaya, Mike Doyle is a talented Lego artist with his own unique aesthetic. Doyle tends to opt for the older Victorian style, making it suitable for history and slightly different designs. The Victorian-style house has only grey Lego bricks, subtly conveying a sense of history and horror. It's nice to see Sawaya's lively monochrome style as the opposite of Doyle's black-and-white masquerade. If they can't prove that you can use Lego for any artistic vision or style, no one can. Doyle's job is likely to be designing sets for the next annabel sequel.
