"Without You" is a song composed by Pete Ham and Tom Evans of the British rock band Badfinger and was first released on the album No Dice in 1970. The Power Ballad has been recorded by more than 180 artists and released singles versions by Harry Nelson and Mariah Carey which became international bestsellers. Paul McCartney once described folk songs as "the killer song of all time."

In 1972, writers Ham and Evans won the Ivorian Academy Award for Best Song for their music and lyricism.
