Robert Anthony Plante is a British rock singer and songwriter. Robert is well known as the lead singer and songwriter of Zeppelin, one of the most famous British rock bands in the 1970s. After the disbanding of Zeppelin in 1980, Robert began his solo career. In 2007, Robert collaborated with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss to release Raising Sand and won five Grammy Awards in 2009. Raising Sand was voted the best record of the year.
