Fans of older Paper Mario games may still be angry that the series has abandoned its roots. However, with the series adopting a more adventure-like style, the team was able to better communicate their new vision. The latest game, The Origami King, offers The story of an RPG.
As an adventure game, The Origami King is full of collectibles that need to be mined. There are plenty of hidden toads to rescue, as well as secret items to make combat smoother. The main story itself isn't too bad, with multiple chapters to complete and bosses to attack. It's still not classic Paper Mario, but it doesn't need to be.
