Life is strange tells the story of a high school girl named Max Caulfield. 

After five years of mysterious disappearance, Max returned to her hometown of Arcadia Bay, in Oregon, Oregon. She wanted to find her missing friend Rachel Amber, and explore the truth. 

During the period of disappearance, she acquired a magical ability to rewind time. 

"life is strange" is divided into five chapters, because the story can travel through time and space and rewind life, and the choices made by players in the game and their consequences will completely change the course of the story.
