Laverne & Shirley is an American sitcom TV series that aired on ABC for eight consecutive seasons from January 27, 1976 to May 10, 1983. HappyDays, Laverne & Shirley's derivatives follow the lives of Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney, two friends and roommates who worked as cap workers at the virtual Shotshot brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the late 1950s. Laverne & Shirley included regular sports comedy shows, becoming the most popular American TV show since the third season, and was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards in 1979.
