Unlike the standard Splatoon 2 multiplayer mode, Salmon Run isn't all about covering the ground in your ink. However, it remains as important as ever. Salmon will leave green trails and ponds everywhere, which will slow down and damage you over time.

Make sure you cover the ground where you need to -- around the egg basket, spawn points, and the route you'll need to jump back into action quickly. If you fail to do this, the whole map will quickly turn green and you will be submerged within minutes.
