Best FPS compilation ever. A lot of Halo games can stand on their own. Halo: Anniversary of Combat Evolution was a landmark moment for the genre, Halo 3's multiplayer was memorable, and Halo Reach is the closest any developer has to a perfect shooter. So this set, which bundles together the best of the series, is a must have.
As a game by itself, Halo combines intense multiplayer magic with a great story-driven campaign that is as good to play single-player as it is to play co-op. Older games are just a part of FPS history, with weapons and mechanics copied by hundreds of games, as are more modern ones. When you mix them together, you feel the magic and switch between eras to see how Bungie's sensibilities change.
