When in doubt, go to Ubisoft. They ended up making all of the Far Cry games and knew how to effectively reflect their systems across different games. Take Ghost Recon: Wildlands, for example, where Ubisoft basically reduced its long-running Ghost Recon video game to Far Cry.

The game is more tactical and has more multiplayer objectives, but it's also great for playing with friends. Other than that, the game is identical to older Ubisoft games.
