Sometimes it takes a little bribery to get kids interested in campaigning. Candy hunt is best for younger kids who need a little push and motivation to get excited about the run, take a group of kids out into the open, and spread out various individually packaged sweets on the floor. Before returning to the starting line, each child can pick up a piece of candy. Once they put down candy at the starting point, they can go back and grab more. The child who retrieves the most candy in the allotted time is the winner.
